Matt Basinger

A current graduate student in Earth and Environmental Engineering, Matt received his B.S. in Engineering and Applied Science from Seattle Pacific University where he studied in the Electrical Engineering department. Matt’s M.S. work at Columbia includes a successful rural electrification project in Sao Tome Africa. As a Doctoral candidate at Columbia, Matt will continue to lead the Team Lister Green research as he seeks to understand the wear and failure mechanisms involved with SVO in Listeroid engines.
